Rogue Soul is a game about trying to be the biggest badass around, to be the Han Solo of video games, the rogue with a heart of gold. Your character is walking down the street when he sees a Wanted poster of himself with a hefty reward of over 40 gold coins. A few steps later, another Wanted poster, this time for another thief: Borin Hood, for thousands of gold coins. Of course this will not stand with our hero, because in the end, if something is worth doing, it's worth doing right.
Rogue Soul is a side-scrolling skill game. You run through the town causing trouble, stealing gold and wooing the ladies. Guards will try to stop you, but they don't know who they're messing with. With adrenaline pumping through your veins, improving your perception tenfold, you can swiftly kick them in the face if you can avoid their weapons. A comparison could be made between Rogue Soul and Assassin's Creed. Mind you, it's not a very good comparison, but it can be made, and I've made it. But there is the same feeling of running around free as bird living on the other side of the law.
